Winston Churchill always said, “It is always wise to look ahead, but difficult to
look further than you can see … or hear!”  Keep applying this to your hearing loss
… there are always good ways to hear better!

Hearing Loss and fall risk …. The connection

Join us for our January meeting to learn how to improve and sometimes prevent balance and fall issues.  Hearing loss, balance problems, dizziness, and vertigo are leading causes of falls.

The Mission Viejo Chapter is proud to again present Dr. Mark Wegener, PT, DPT, who is the Director of Balance Rehabilitation in Mission Viejo.  Falls are one of the leading causes of accidental death over the age of 65.  Hearing loss, balance problems, dizziness, and vertigo are leading causes of falls and can result in significant loss of independence.  Dr. Mark Wegener is a physical therapist who specializes in helping people with these issues.  He will speak on balance and fall prevention, the importance of Core Strength, postural awareness and the relationships to hearing loss.  With these tools you will prevent back problems, falls, improve balance and maximize your independence and safety.

Admission is free and reservations are not required.
